As a unit of the Office of Academic Affairs, we provide
diverse, quality programs
and services that create a desire for lifelong learning. Our programs
offer choice, quality and a variety of delivery methods designed to
meet the needs of nontraditional students and working adults.
The Academic Programing Unit is an enrollment area with special emphasis on academic advising for returning
adults who are interested in taking undergraduate credit courses at Ohio
State.
The Conference Management team provides professional expertise in
developing, coordinating, and managing events and conferences for academic departments,
professional associations, businesses, and the university community.
Many adult learners seek documentation for noncredit programming
that may be viewed as professional development in the workplace. The process
of awarding continuing education units (CEUs) is based upon an evaluation
of the program content and instructor’s qualifications using specific
criteria.
Program 60 is a unique opportunity for
Ohio’s older citizens (age 60 and over) to sit in on courses
at Ohio State on a noncredit, space-available basis.
